RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY

Effective Date: January 2025

This Returns, Exchanges and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made with Idaho & Utah Mattress Outlet (RBH Avenues LLC), both in-store and online. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.


1. NO REFUNDS — ALL SALES FINAL

Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet does not offer refunds on any merchandise, at any time, for any reason.
This applies whether the item is unopened, warrantied, ordered, in-transit, delivered, or picked up.

When allowed under this Policy, customers may receive in-store credit only, not a refund.


2. IN-STORE CREDIT & EXCHANGES

Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet offers exchanges or returns for in-store credit only if the item meets the eligibility requirements listed below.

In-store credit:

  • May be used at any Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet retail location or our website

  • Is issued only after the returned product is inspected and approved

  • Cannot be issued for items not eligible under this Policy


3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Your purchase is eligible for return or exchange ONLY if ALL the following conditions are met:

A. The purchase qualifies for the 100 Day Sleep Trial

(Eligibility rules in Section 5 must be met.)

B. The item can be physically returned to one of our stores

  • Delivery/pickup fees apply for all returns and exchanges.

  • If a customer ships an item via a third party, Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet is not liable for shipping fees and cannot guarantee in-store credit until the product is received and inspected.

C. Accessories are unused, unopened, and in original packaging

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Pillows

  • Mattress toppers

  • Sheets

  • Bed frames

  • Adjustable bases

  • Mattress protectors

  • Bedding accessories

Opened accessories are not eligible for return or in-store credit.

D. The customer provides proof of purchase

A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.


4. PURCHASES NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE

The following items CANNOT be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances:

  • Custom or special-order sizes, such as RV sizes, Split-Queen, Split-Cal King, or any non-standard mattress size

  • Any furniture

  • Opened accessories, including pillows, toppers, sheets, protectors, frames, adjustable base components, or bedding

  • Products with sanitation or condition issues, as described in the 100 Day Trial rules

  • Items that do not meet the required break-in or protection requirements


5. 100 DAY SLEEP TRIAL POLICY

Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet offers a 100 Day Comfort Exchange on most standard-sized mattresses.

To qualify, all conditions below must be met:

A. A waterproof mattress protector must be purchased on the same receipt and used during the entire trial period.

B. The trial begins the day the mattress is delivered or picked up.

C. The mattress must be returned in good condition

The mattress is NOT eligible for exchange if it is:

  • Stained

  • Soiled

  • Has an odor

  • Contains human or pet hair

  • Torn, punctured, or damaged

  • Has cosmetic blemishes

  • Shows signs of misuse or unsanitary conditions

D. Comfort exchanges are limited to 1 per customer before additional charges or fees are required

E. The mattress must be an eligible standard size

Eligible sizes:

  • TXL

  • Twin

  • Full

  • Queen

  • King

  • Split-Head Queen

  • Split-Head King

  • Split-King

F. No restocking fees are charged

If all requirements are met, the customer receives full in-store credit equal to the price on the original invoice.

G. Delivery or pickup charges for returns/exchanges are the customer’s responsibility.

H. Special orders are NOT eligible for the 100 Day Trial.

If eligibility is not met, the mattress cannot be exchanged or returned for credit.


6. SPECIAL ORDERS — FINAL SALE

Special orders, including custom sizes, are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or the 100 Day Trial under any circumstances. Unless otherwise specified in writing.


7. ONLINE ORDERS

Online purchases follow the same rules as in-store purchases.

Once a mattress or bedding product has been delivered or picked up, it is not returnable unless it qualifies under the 100 Day Trial and meets all conditions.


8. DELIVERY & PICKUP FEES

All delivery and pickup charges for returns or exchanges are the customer’s responsibility.
These fees are non-refundable.

Customers shipping returns through a third-party carrier are responsible for all shipping costs and damages and are not guaranteed in-store credit until the product is inspected.


9. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • You must notify us:

    1. BEFORE the delivery team leaves if delivered by Idaho/Utah Mattress Outlet
    2. Within 48 hours of arrival if delivered by any other carrier (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc...)
  • Provide photos documenting the issue

  • We will inspect and determine next steps, which may include replacement or correction

Damage occurring after delivery or during customer transport/setup is not covered.


10. WARRANTY CLAIMS

Most mattresses and bases include a manufacturer warranty, not a store warranty.

  • Warranty coverage is governed by the manufacturer’s terms

  • Stains, soil, damage, or missing law tags typically void all warranties

  • Inspection or transportation fees may apply

  • We assist in filing claims but do not control approval decisions

Warranty claims are not grounds for refund.

Any items NOT covered by a manufacture's warranty will be covered by our store 30-day Lemon Policy.


11. IN-STORE CREDIT ISSUANCE

In-store credit is issued only after:

  • The returned item is inspected,

  • Eligibility is confirmed, and

  • All conditions of this Policy are satisfied.

Credit must be used toward future purchases and holds no cash value.
